Ora Mora Vintage is one of Denmark's best-known retailers of hand-picked vintage clothing. They want to represent a large assortment of timeless and classic products as well as unique creations. They came to us with a desire to complement their own in-house productions and further strengthen their brand narrative.
Ora Mora is a company with a strong creative side that we wanted to challenge. Over two creative meetings, we presented our ideas so that we could jointly shape the direction of the project. An important aspect of pre-production was understanding their tone of voice, customer segment and use of social media. We agreed on four concepts, all to be shot in 9:16 in a larger visual brand narrative over a month.
The production took place over one shooting day, where the whole day was carefully organised according to the concepts and the four locations. The concepts and the four locations. At each location, the clothes were selected and styled, while the production team set up equipment to minimise waiting time and streamline the shooting. There were two hours per location to get all the shots in place, which meant that the planned shooting schedule had to be strictly followed.
Ora Mora wanted to be a big part of the editing process, which meant a strong collaboration from start to finish. We provided an early draft of all four concepts with different versioning, music choices and editing rhythms, then worked with both founders to make the final creative decisions. We were then able to deliver the final versions within a week, ready to become part of their organic short form content, which they have been very successful with.
